Sampled from 500ml brown bottle. Poured a dark ruby / mohagany colour with a beautiful creamy long lasting head. Very nice lacing. Aromas are malty and fruity. Taste is of caramel / butterscotch with hints of fruits and slight smoke. Creamy mouthfeel is medium / heavy with fairly light carbonation. An awesome session beer.

Sampled from a small 300ml brown bottle. This beer is from the makers of Red Stripe. Poured a black colour with very small brown highlights. Head is brown and dissipates fast enough, leaving some lacing (but not much). Aromas are the strongest part of this brew. Roasty, creamy. A good mixture of coffee and molasses with some fruits thrown in. Taste is farely sweet with hints of bitterness. Chocolate mixed in with milk (or cream). Good that they make it in a small bottle, being on the high alcohol side (7.5%).

Sampled from their nice original 500ml brown bottle. Poured a beautiful amber-brown with orange highlights. The descant white head left an amazing amount of lacing. The nose was fruity with caramel malts, and hints of floral scents. Taste is hoppy, but not very bitter ??!?! Smooth mouthfeel with a dry finish. Some malt is in the taste too. I will try and seek more Adnams product, as I like this one.

Poured a light golden colour with a small head. This IPA had nice medium lacing and good carbonation, with some bubbles being bigger then others. Aromas were of citrus malts. Tasted hoppy with caramel malts. Dry finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and clean.

A beer named after Monthy Python. Coming from Black Sheep brewery, must be interesting. Poured a beautiful copper-orange with a big creamy head and lots of lacing. Floral and hoppy nose with hints of oranges and apples. Starts off with a caramel taste and finishes on a medium hop bitterness. Medium carbonation. Refreshing with the sweetness complimenting the bitterness. I am still not dissapointed with a brew from Black Sheep.

Poured a black colour with brown-red highlights. The tanned head dissipated pretty fast leaving some good lacing. Aromas were sweet and creamy. Floral hints too and apples. Taste was sweet and sour with a slight coffee aftertaste and a dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel and medium body. Very refreshing !

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

Poured a black colour with red highlights and a creamy tan head. I could hardly smell any aromas (except for the unpleasant stench of wet socks - just a tad). Wow ! The taste was much better though. Smoky with burnt malts. Slightly bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel, but a bit thin for a stout. Other then the nose, quite good.

This was my first Flying Dog experience. And it was a good one (despite the bad reviews this beer gets). Very good looking label. Poured a medium brown colour with ruby highlights. The moderate head dissipated fairly quickly. Could smell molasses and fruits with hints of hickory. Tasted smoked toffee with sweet and roasted malts. Hints of chocolate. I really enjoyed its smoked aftertaste.

Poured an amber-orange colour with a fine head. The nose was fruity and hoppy. The taste, as well, was fruity (on the orange side). Could also taste the light caramel malts. Had a mild bitter finish. A pleasant english ale with a cool name, and a good story behind it (written on the label).

This ale poured a golden-amber colour with a good head, and some lacing. The nose was weak with confusing aromas. Could mostly smell the alcohol. Tasted fruity, but not much on the honey side. Smooth mouthfeel. Good, but deceiving for a brew from Young's Brewery.
