Best widely distributed beer

General Beer Discussion by CLASH

For me its Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I can find it anywhere in Tennessee. Its also a relief to see Redhook IPA and Sam Adams Boston Lager on the shelves amongst all the swill. What is your favorite beer you can find almost anywhere you go including bars with a limited selection?

I find myself ordering Guinness regularly when out at the bar. In the summer when its 90+ outside I go for something lighter, Corona. I will also see what's on special. Usually something catches my eye. At home I have High Life (price rules) next up would be St.Pauly girl, Used to be Yuenling when I was back east. When I have the extra cash Stone is on deck. The brewery is 30min from my house! Don't hate me.

In Reply To #21 Well if Stone Brewing is a half an hour away from your house and you have a fridge stocked with St. Pauli, and miller high life I do have to say that I hate you.

hahaha that's funny! But I did also mention Guinness, and Yuengling. When funds are low High Life works. Problem is I am low on funds more often than not. High life is a different animal than Stone by far. I can't afford to eat filet minion every day, so Taco Bell will have to do. The title of this post was "best WIDELY distributed beer" Stone doesnt qualify, so I should not have even mentioned it. Check the other Beer Rating sites. M.H.L has some really positive reviews. Some even on this site. Seems to be a 50/50 split. Love it or hate it. November 4th is the release date for Stone Arrogant Double Bastard Ale. I'll dig deep in my pockets to try it. I'm new to all the better beers, I'm coming around (thanks BeerPal) please forgive me. ha.

Utenos. The best one. But the thing is that it's widely distributed only in Lithuania [;)]. From worldwide... probably Stella Artois.

In a pinch, Amstel Light (probably the best light beer on the market...if you MUST drink light). Otherwise Guinness or Sam Adams. Or just water.

Sierra? Repent now, awful crap. Gag, barf. Great distribution of a poor quality brew. **** Hook as well, Wolaver, Shinner, and any of the Sham Adams group. Here we must suffer thru: Crumbacher, Drecks, and ****burger.Ottienger Schnecken Brau (snail bier), Worstenberg. However: Rats Kronen, is a grand cheapo brew. Not good, but for the Euro, perfect. Lone Star is a joke, Smeller Atois: painful, Canker Steam bloody awful and over priced, De ****s Black Puke Porter, name say it all. Dog Piss 60 minute (till you vomit)IPA, and Lagunitas Brown Bugger. Lesson here is: it ain't the beer, it is how you get the swill to the public.

I like Anchor Steam. That's probably my favorite.

Yuengling is the best for flavor per dollar. Germans that come over for business give good props to the Y, especially as a summer beer. It was my first "staple" beer, although I find it a little boring now.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Sam Adams Boston Lager, Boulevard Pale is widely available in Eastern and Central Kansas, Bass Ale, and Guiness (although it's better in Ireland)
