This beer is on sale at my local liquor store, and one of the guys there REALLY likes it. I like red ale a lot, and I think this is pretty flavorful, although it has a pretty weak head and a little grassy hops overtone.

Thi was a really good beer. I don't care for "Belgian style", or fruity beers at all, but this was a very nice surprise. Decent head, nice lacing, clear, darker golden color. Overall, quite good.

This beer surprised me a little bit, the 6 pack packaging doesn't mention Belgian style, which I don't usually care for much. The first bottle was quite good, but the second one, a few days later, was "chemical" tasting to me.

This is pretty tasty brown ale. Nice difference from Newcastle Brown, which is on my personal favorites, hoppier than Newcastle. I would buy it again, not necessarily right away.

River City sells their wares in half gallon jugs, so I had several mugs of this beer. I was very pleased with the flavor, not harsh at all. It is a very dark brown, pours a nice head (retention isn't that great). Good aroma, and a good mouthfeel, full bodied.
