  Pours black with a tan head, no lace. Aroma is definetly roasted. feel was very smooth, with little to no carbonation. I really liked it. Flavor was dark and also roasted. At $3.99 for a 22oz, this is a great deal! You can bet I will buy again.

  Stone Double Bastard Ale

  Nov 1 2004 release. Poured slightly darker that regular arrogant bastard ale. Yellowish head dissipated quick with no lace. Now its just me and the Double Bastard. I took a huge gulp in anticipation and WHOAA! This beer has FLAVOR and a warm KICK! This is definetly not your avg beer. I could FEEL the high 10% ABV but the taste was not overpowered by it. It was all beer flavor not alcohol flavor. It really did taste like the reg Bastard but more intence. My chest was warm. This is a great winter brew. I like it. But after 22oz it was trying to kick my ass.

  Poured a dark amber with carmel head and lace. This looked like a great beer! Smell was citrus, and a little on the fruit side. Mouthfeel was avg to smooth. Not heavily carbonated. I was really enjoying this beer. Taste was bitter, but so damn good. Overall just plain GOOD!

  Look was dark with nice lace and tan head. I smell chocolate!! The feel was not as thick as I thought but still very good. I taste coffee! overall very good. ready for more.

  Head dissipated quickly with no lace. Bit I do like the cloudy, hazy dark yellow beers. Slight carbonation perfect amount I thought. I tasted lemon, citrus and bitter. Not a bad beer.
