A very popular beer in my neigborhood. This beer is offered at all the stores in my area at a very reasonable price. At times its cheaper than Sam Adams or other US micros which I never could understand. A pleasant yet strong beer, light aftertaste and it goes down very easy.

Bottle. Colour – pale gold, clear, lively, small tight white cap. Aroma – cereal malts, yeast, light sweet notes, herbal hops. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, medium carbonation. Flavour – grassy malts, some slight sweetness, a very bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste. Not a favourite.

They say you need to try everything under the sun in order top appreciate it. Well, I tried Zywiec, and I didn't appreciate it. It poured a clear pale straw yellow in colour with a huge white head. Lots of corn and sweet malt in the aroma, not much in the way of hops. The taste was very typical of Polish lagers, a tad sweet for me.

Aroma smells like a skunky ball sack. The color is medium yellow with no foam head. The mouthfeel is very watery. And the taste is of a very mild malt and grass taste. Won't be buying this one again.

Pours bright yellow with a well fluffed head and has constant carbonation rising. The aroma is smooth and sweet with a bit of skunkiness. A sugared bread aroma with grains. The taste consists of sweet bread with light skunk and mild grassy hop flavor. The malt leads the way with grain and corn on the back end. The mouthfeel is medium body with ok amouunt of carbonation and semi crisp.

Very light clear yellow color, white fading foam head. Somewhat high carbonated. Good bitter taste, some sweet aroma. Taste lasts quite long, nice.

Poured a generous amount of thick foamy head, lots of carbonation, appearance of ginger ale, lacks a memorable aroma, nice golden appearance. Very hoppy. Nothing special really.

I found this in the BevMo! on my last trip. I wasn't expecting much from an Eastern European beer. Nevertheless, I was still surprised when a huge waft of skunk came out of a brown bottle. I don't think that has ever happened to me before (green glass seems to be the automatic skunker). There is no head on this, but a lot of bubbles in the body. Dark amber color. Tastes sour, and only smells of skunk. this isn't really pleasant, and I will skip it next time.

Looks like a beer from a commercial, golden, clear, bright but with no cap. Aroma is nice because I don’t think there is one, mild metallic corn maybe, the complete lack of skunk surprises me. Taste is stronger with wet hay, bready malts hints metal, some skunk and there is even a hop bitterness in the finish. Simple beer very drinkable, crisp feel, and surprisingly good considering the eastern European origin. Two knee caps up for this brew

not bad for a plain old lager. malty with some delicate hopping. earthy. cereal graininess. all in all, not bad, but still a little thin and not anything to get excited aboot. obviously the baltic porter is much better.

Wasn't massively impressed the first time I tried this, but I am a big fan now. Had a decent amount of flavour and very drinkable too. Unfortunately, living in England I haven't the slightest idea what makes a good lager, but this was tasty, refreshing, slightly malty and had a wonderful warm aftertaste. That for me puts it above almost all the other lagers I've ever had.
