Sampled 4/20/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 350ml can. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruit, sweet and citrusy. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and herbal. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. More in the English style than an American Pale Ale, not as hoppy and way more malty. Mouthfeel is full and round. Aftertaste is smooth. Finish is slightly bitter.

Pours an attractive clear dark amber. I couldn’t get much of a head, though. Crisp aroma is malty with a fruity note that seems to be equal parts pear and plum. Flavor is mainly malty and has a fruity undertone - I caught a hint of plum and a touch of pear. Texture is smooth with average body and fizz, but still enjoyable. Had at a good sushi bar in Atlanta - not world class, but still worthy if you happen to spot it.

Cask@GBBF2007. Deep orange colour, with mediumsized white head. Aroma is quite fruity and malty, with some slight spicyness notes. Flavour is what I would call tropical juice mixed in with some slight caramel malts and also some hints of grass and more bittering hops. A pleasant thing.
