More session able than an IPA but with abundant hop presence, this American Pale Ale was brewed solely with Equinox, an experimental hop variety from the Northwest with notes of green papaya, pepper and apple. We brewed the beer with a toasty malt backbone for balance, while still showcasing this unique and rare new American hop. Enjoy!

Pours a beautiful clear golden amber with a thick yellow-buff head. Aroma is quite hoppy, with malty and papaya undertones. Boldly joppy flavor is more IPA than straight-out pale ale, fairly bitter and evergreen, supported by malty and tropical fruit notes. Texture is fizzy, lively, and fairly firm; finish is bitter and evergreen with fruity hints. Frequinox out!
