Frustrated that organic hops be shipped to us from as far away as new zealand, we set out to find a more local source. In 2006 we met with Pat Leavy, an oregon hop farmer. He agreed to grow several varieties of organic hops for us. This ale is brewed with Pat's fuggles, goldings, magnum and american grown organic barley. We salute america's organic farmers, that's why we brewed this in his name. So raise a glass of Pat's all american ale and enjoy. The full malt flavors of this rich amber ale are balanced perfectly with the delicious aromas and flavors of Pat's hops. No preservatives and like any unparturized fresh food or brew, it will change over time.

Mar 7, 2009 Smells a little like permanet hair treatment. Looks like a pale american lager. Taste is somewhat metallic hops. Typical intense APA, almost mild IPA. Bitter aftertaste, medium length medicinal linger.
