Sampler size sample. Another somewhat strange take on the Oktoberfest style, this one poured the amber-orange, slight copper color with a good initial head and decent lacing. The aroma was malty, but not really bready and spicey. The flavor was likewise malty and a touch of breadiness came through, but with some fruity ester aspects (for a lager anyway). Moderate mouthfeel, undercarbonated. Somewhat of a boring beer, certainly not a star take on the style, but certainly drinkable.
