Traded with Jan, thanks. Black ruby, clear, light brown foam head, vanished after a while. Chocolate aroma and bitter chocolate taste. Great drink. (Velp 201508)

At last - the elusive Wiibroe Porter Imperial Stout is mine. 330 ml bottle, at Plan B, Copenhagen. Black colour, moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, chocolate and liquorice, hints of oak and dark dried fruits. Roasty flavour, dark malts and coffee, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. Lovely!

Poured a black color, with no head, just tan bubbles, no lacing. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts, dried fruits, with light soy as well. Taste was roasted malts, smoke, chocolate, tobacco, light soy, with a dry, roasted finish. Thin mouthfeel.

Pitch black, or enormously dark brown, opaque colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, slight roast and smoke. Flavour is strong smoke, roasted malts, coffee and alcohol. Very mouthdrying. Aftertaste is roasted malts, smoke and aftera while a lot of ashes. Quite dry. Wellbalanced, but the ashyness is almost too much...

An opaque black beer, topped with a low brown head. looks delicious. Loads of coffee in the aroma along with roasted and burnt malts, dark chocolate , smoke and wood. Full and chocolately lavour with strong notes of pure cocoa, coffee, wood and dried figs. medium bodied which makes it dangerously drinkable. Long finish of wood, smoke and black chocolate. A masterpiece. I neer thought I would say this but: Thanks Carlsberg (for bringing it back)!

best before 2003, sampled april 2004 - black colour with almost no foam, black chocolate and nutty aroma, toasted with notes of alcohol, full-bodied, oily with a robust bitterness, long dry bitter aftertaste of cream, alcohol and coffee - very well-made and deeply balanced
