This is much like any berry beer. The aroma is that of sweet berries, but the flavor is still just that of any good ale. Widberry is a little sweeter than most fruit beers I have tried. The best thing about it is as a woman you can keep a 6-pack of this in your 'frig and sip at your leisure w/o having to worry about any husband, boyfriend, or guy friend drinking it all up. This beer is almost entirely man proof.

Medium orange color. Small head. Aroma is yeasty, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied triple. Malts are fruity and sweet, apricots and oranges. Slightly spicy hops. Not a lot of the bright Belgian yeast character in it for me, but it has the typical fruitiness of a Belgian. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Black Raspberry Widberry This fruit beer has a good appearance in my mug..its a beautiful dark coppery colour with hints of red..a small head goes soon and I am left with a white ring around the glass..the carbonation looks very nice. The smell is totally of Black raspberry..its strong but its also very atttractive not overpowering This has to be one of the tastiest fruit flavoured beers I have had from any American brewer..the raspberry taste actually tastes like the real thing..not some "artificial flavouring"..very nice indeed very fresh..i also get a hint of the malt too. Very nice feel in the mouth, I expected carbonation to be high but it was well balanced. Overall a very very drinkable fruit flavoured beer..this would be a landmower beer par excellence.

Adequate, to much "Sweetness", but its supposed to be right? Nice malt nose, and decent hop under tones, not as bad as some "Fruity" brews, most people will like it I think.
