This is another rough draft (only availble in small quanities, on tap, and locally). This is nothing like Alaskan Smoked Porter or any porter I have had before. Its sweeter, thinner, and easier to drink than other porters. Very little carbonation and only a slight head. Different and potent.

This is one of Alaskan's Rough Drafts. It was only available on tap. I found it at both the Hangar and the Rendevoux in downtown Juneau. Heritage is a local coffee company. It had a nice coffee taste without much bitterness. Sweeter than most beers, but not at all syrupy. I wish they'd bottle it, so I can get it at home and folks in the lower 48 could try it.

I haven't had any other ESBs from other brewers, but I loved this. Far superior to Alaskan Amber. It has a nice dark caramel color. It tastes nice and hoppy. So, its great going down, but leaves your mouth tasting pretty sour afterwards.

This is a darker amber than most I have tried and a little more malty and bitter than I usually care for. It is definatley worth a try, especially for those with a preference for ambers.

This is much like any berry beer. The aroma is that of sweet berries, but the flavor is still just that of any good ale. Widberry is a little sweeter than most fruit beers I have tried. The best thing about it is as a woman you can keep a 6-pack of this in your 'frig and sip at your leisure w/o having to worry about any husband, boyfriend, or guy friend drinking it all up. This beer is almost entirely man proof.
