Dark doesn’t always have to be scary, and this beer is the perfect example of that. Infidel is a 6% abv porter that has hints of chocolate and soft roasted notes. A well balanced bitterness is rounded out by a silky, smooth mouthfeel that is derived from a large addition of wheat malt. This is an extremely drinkable yet complex porter. This beer is perfect to pair with our burgers.

Comes out of ye olde tap a luscious coffee brown with a substantial tan head. Smoky aroma has a surprising wooy hop overtone and coffee and caramel notes. Scrumptious flavor has roast malt, hoppy, earthy, caramel and coffee notes; and is somewhat sweet but not cloying. Firm, viscous texture has la strong and slightly powdery fizz. Long live infidels!

On tap at Wicked Weed: Deep dark mahogany brown pour, tight tan head, nice lacing. Deeply roasted malt nose and flavor upfront, dark chocolates, hint of raspberries, very slight molasses, touch of sour, earthy hops. Damn good porter, very rich.
