Pours a very murky bronze color (kind of setting the stage for me to perceive this ale as bronze, not gold). Aroma is unexpectedly funky with some malt notes. The flavor is sour with noticeable rye character, nothing special to someone who enjoys rye beers a lot. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Disappointing, but drinkable.
