I sampled this in downtown Morgantown, WV. It poured a nice copper/chestnut color with a thick head. I enjoyed the taste as it was smooth and went easy on the hops.

On draft at Blues BBQ in Charleston, poured a deep copper to slight brown color, fairly weak initial head, and only spotty lacing. Overall impression was a bit of a hybrid amber/brown ale product, more the latter. The aroma and flavor consisted of coffee, light roasted malts, some caramel malts. Moderatlely bodied with a roasted bitter finish, no real hoppy bitterness detected. A drinkable brown ale, not among the best in flavor, yet decent.

Pours a dark copper. It has a very malty aroma, full of caramel and hazlenuts but there are no hops whatsoever. Pleasingly malty flavor. Pretty good brown ale.
