It pours a light yellow-golden with fairly-thick white head and copious lace. An aroma of malts, hops, bitterness, lemon, and choice spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of barley malts, light hops, lemon, bitterness, light tapioca, and some spiciness. Now, this is beer!!

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Yellow colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is flowery hops as well as some grassy notes. Flavour is malts, sweet flowery hops as well as some lemongrass and grassyness. Aftertaste gets some earth and grassyness as companion to the flowery, even slightly fruity, notes. Also the lemongrass is there in the finsih too.

Fairly sharp cabbage aroma from this 12 oz green bottle. Aroma carries over to the taste. Has quite a bit of pilsner personality. Medium bitter pilsner linger.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Contract brewed by Brauerei Bischofshof. ABV is 4.9%. Crystal clear and very pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Nice aroma of of fruity and floral aromatic hops, notes of honey, some sweetish malty aroma too. Light bodied, but there is also a subtle malty sweetness in the flavour, and moderate but distinct German hops throughout. Definitely a decent pilsener!

Poured a crystal clear pale golden yellow with hues of straw yellow, lots of carbonation bubbles continually rising to the surface, lots of head, and darned pretty lacing on the way down. Head retention was a little weak after a few minutes, but this is as good as a pilsner can look, especially from a bottle. Aroma was bready, doughy, grainy, grassy. The flavor followed suit but finished with a metallic and acidic mouthfeel behind the nicely hopped finish (a very nicely balanced pilsner, malts there but not "sweet" or overly honey-like). Would love to give this another shot on draft in Bayern one day.

Light golden with a large head composed of moderate sized bubbles that weren'tlong lasting, the malt and hops seemed well balanced in my mouthleavig a bitter flavor when swallowed leaving a metalic after taste. Nice lacing.

Golden with a small bubbly white head. Weak and grainy aroma of bread, butter and minerals. Clean malty flavour of bread and grain. Dry, bready, crispy finish. Some skunky metallic notes is there as well.

I was blown away by the taste on this pils. I wasn't expecting such a balanced attack of malt and hops. The hop profile on this is creeping in on pale ale territory and it's incredible. Aroma is grassy, slightly spicy and very enticing. Reminds me of how the inside of a brewery smells. Appearance is a light hazy yellow. Mouthfeel is very clean, very refreshing. Flavor is nice and bitter, with an emphasis on bitter. In fact, I can't recall the last pils this bitter, if ever. Simply exquisite.

Light gold color. Large sized fizzy white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy and spicy floral hops. A medium bodied pilsner. Malts are fruity and sweet. Mild slightly floral hops. Nice balance. Light and refreshing. Crisp and clean. Good malt profile. Nice pilsner. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
