This last 6-pack sampler of these signature series are harder to finish. Seems like more essences, than real ingredients. Not sure why this one gives out lots of coconut at first. It does seem to calm down after a white, and the apples and crumble-biscuits do appear, with chocolate malts as base. Thankfully, the taste is not as rich, with a blend of cinnamon-apple notes. Some of the roasted malts in the background lingers a light burnt aspect to this. Clean, copper colour with amber highlights, a big soapy beige head, very long retention and thick foamy-soapy lacing. A fun series, but make sure let these breath before having to let the essences escape a little.

The beer pours an almost solid black colour with a creamy off-white head. The aroma is very much like an Apple Brown Betty with notes of oats, apples, and cinnamon to go along with roasted malt and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma with the cinnamon notes lingering on the tongue long after the beer is finished.
