The Roaring Twenties, a decade of dapper men and flapper girls. Nowhere was it more hopping than Windsor’s waterfront. Gambling in secret, smoke-filled rooms was the thing to do and speakeasies were the place to be. The Walkerville Brewery Easy Stout is a decadent and delicious offering. Silky sweet notes greet the palette and roll off into a subtle dark chocolate finish. A soft roasted note should linger as the beer finishes dry. Our Milk Stout is rich and robust it is medium bodied and easy drinking. MALTS: 2-Row, Carapils, Munich, Chocolate Malt HOPS: Magnum

The beer pours a solid coca-cola colour with a half inch creamy tan coloured head which sadly, did not last more than a few seconds. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and notes of vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malt, coffee, and not much else. Quite one dimensional for a stout, and weak tasting. -

Can. Colour - Coca-cola coloured with a creamy tan coloured head that laces well. Aroma - sweet milk chocolate, roasted malt, molasses, and vanilla. Mouthfeel - almost full bodied, slightly cream,y, and well carbonated. Flavour - milk chocolate and dark coffee up front with hints of vanilla and toffee in the finish.

A small brewery is making a big stout with some big flavours. A solid black beer with thin creamy light brown head that lingers. A huge pop of roasted malt and bitter chocolate notes hits you in the face upon opening while the flavours are a little more subdued, but still the same. Very impressive for a small brewery.

Pours a real dark brown colour with hazy ruby highlights. The head is creamy, mocha-coloured, long lasting with some great lacing. Beautiful sweet aromas of cocoa powder, sugars, over roasted malts. Hops do come out after breathing. The taste is milder, with some watery burnt malts, meaning not too sweet like the nose. Not too rich. This helps the drinkability. Light hops in the finish. Easy stout is easy drinking.

Now called Easy Stout and is 5.5% abv. Pours a dark brown with a short lived tan head. Leaves a few dots for lace. Flavour and aroma is roasty and sweet. Sweet dark chocolat, sweet milky coffer, dark fruits and vanilla. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth although thinner than expected. Ok beer but a little sweet for me.
