A murky, cloudy brownish-yellow colored beer. A small thick foamy tecxtured white head rises, briefly above. Left behind is a medium soapy ringlet. Interesting sour and spicy in nose and tasting. I like this type of flavoring, so I'm partial. Admittedly the body is on the light side. But when I finish there is an impressive sedimentation left on the bottom.

Sampled on 10/16/2009. This Belgian Ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 33cl bottle. Large sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, lots of orange, orange peel and spices. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, with lots of orange and orange peel flavors. Yeasty and bright. The hops are herbal and spicy. Nice balance. A touch sweet but nice. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Tang was the only exciting taste here. Having had tried hundreds of beers I wasn't expecting lemon but now that I have I'm not excited. This beer has little head, light in the mouth, and a dark yellow color. Overall a terribly unexciting beer which for a belgium ale is kind of supprising.

Damn. I wish I read the reviews before buying this. It sounded interesting so I figured I'd give it a try. Pours a dirty yellow color with a quick fading white head. Aroma wasn't bad; oranges, yeast and some lemons. The mouthfeel on this is very carbonated and like seltzer. Overall pretty thin. The flavor is pretty weak as well with some orange coriander, lemon, some spice and maybe mango and overall wheaty and acidic. Tastes like a combination of fruit juice and seltzer water. Which isn't good... I'll give the Belgians a mulligan on this one.

Hazy orange colour, white foamy head. Aroma is yeasty, acidic fruity and wheaty. Yeast and wheat in flavour, also quite acidic. Unpleasant in most way. Flemish sour witbier? Bad mix anyway.

Bottle: Poured a light orangey color ale with a small bubbly head with limited retention. Aroma of weird spices is not the most enticing. Taste is different from your average wit but not necessarily for the best; there is way too much orange peel with limited coriander which contributed to the misbalance character of this beer. Body is slightly oily and not full at all. Weird take on a style that doesn’t provide much error margin to begin with.

03.25.05 33cl bottle. Cloudy golden color with smallish white head that fades to a trace. Weird aromas are like mustard and orange and some odd air freshener and its interesting but not entirely pleasant. Sour. Flavors come around to a sweet and orangey concoction with hints of floor cleaner and furniture polish. It’s not lemony; it’s not spicey. What it is is a slap in the face. I get no wheat esters, not yeastiness, only weirdness, and it bugs me. I’m not so happy about this brew -- down the drain it goes.

The head is huge and very active. A nice cloudy light gold color to the body. Spritzy and lively aroma. Lemons with some Irish Spring soap. The taste is more sour and funky than I would have expected. Interesting with a metallic tint and some lemon peel. This is a very unusual and interesting wit. Try this if you are a lambic fan. Makes me burp up a blue cheese flavor.

cloudy and awful amber-orange colour, the initial foam disappears immediately, strong and agressiv coriander aroma, notes of orange juice and cough syrup, overcarbonated, acidic and astringent, aftertaste of unfermented malt with more coriander - medicinal and just plain bad !

Aroma is floral with some bread, lemons, and oranges. Apperance is a murky yellowish/orange. The flavor is an overkill in the spice department. A very sour citrus fruit flavor with a hot pepper/tobassco spice to it. Is that vinegar I taste? This is the Cave Creek Chili Beer of Wits. This has to be one of the weirdest drinking experiences Ive ever had. Overall its just to spicy to be enjoyable. Blech!
