Our brewer's latest pet project blends the earthy, coffee-like flavor of roasted chicory with the nutty, "amaretto" sweetness of toasted hickory nuts (hand-picked on our family farm) and a woodsy dash of hickory chips, for a bock beer unlike any you've tried. Liquid artistry at it's finest!

On tap at the Vintage a few months back. Pours into the glass a dark reddish colour with a finger sized head. Aroma is slightly smoked, roasted malt. Taste is filling, flavourful, nutty and very easy drinking. Excellent brew.

Another beer @ Vintage with phishpond and PfoxyJohn. This bock poured very dark, near mahogany ruby brown, tight cap, good lacing. Nice roasted nutty aroma, hint of smoke, deeply roasted malts, rich aroma. Taste follows queue of the aromas with a nice raosted sweet nutty lightly smoked tasty ass beer. Another huge thanks to Travis and John for letting me try this - TASTY!
