The SEC football in my blood, specifically being an Auburn Tiger, should have steered me clear of anything having to do with a Razorback... but being adventurous, I'll try anything... it was OK. The company with which I was with was far better. Slightly better than average, but about what one would expect.

Pours a dull and cloudy brown with very little head. The aroma is light with a coffee-malt base. The flavor begins malty, then instead of turning bitter or dry as my palate expected, it finishes disturbingly sour. It didn't seem appropriate for a bock, yet did not ruin the whole beer...may have just been a subpar batch. The body was light and thin.

Sampled on draft at Vinos. Pours dark chocolate brown in color. A mild, malty aroma and a rich, toasted malt with caramel and chocolate flavor. There's a faint hint of apple or pear as well. Medium-full body with light carbonation. A well-made beer.
