Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours black with a nice tannish head that leaves ample lacing throughout. Little carbonation. Aromas of sweet and roasted malts, chocolate, creamy coffee and very slight hops. Taste is rather sweet and mild for a high abv with nice roasted coffee and chocolate-covered cherries and then very slight alcohol. Nice brew - great label.

Bottle from boboski. Poured with an out of control ridiculous sized brown head, that was rocky, pillowy, persistent, a pain in the neck to drink through once the pour was completed over like 15mins (and after sucking up a ton of foam long the way). The body was deep dark brown (not a pure pitch black). The aroma was coffee and sweet dark fruits, slight metallic notes. The flavor was chocolate, faint coffee, metal, plenty of dark fruits (raisins, prunes), molasses, licorice, and light caramel. Roasty bitter, oxidized, astringent, and sweet at the same time. The mouthfeel was full and malty. Thanksk, Jason!

pours a deep opaque colour, large fluffy brown head. leaves you with a drier mouthfeel and many different aromas accompany this pour. Nutty, cocoa, barnyard, cloves, and ripe pear.

Note possible bad bottle. This Imperial Stout poured a deep black color from the bottle. Small sized beige foamy head. Aroma is soap and urinal. Thin body. Some roasty malts but lots of off flavors. Will re-rate if I ever find another bottle of this stuff.

Either I got a really, really bad bottle of this stuff or these guys just can't make beer. An aroma of urine, soap, charcoal and coffee. Appearance was pitch black. Mouthfeel was watery. Flavor were soapy, sewer-like wet charcoal with some underlying roast character. Just an awful beer.

This Swedish Imperial Stout pours with a thin, tan head and is a thoroughly opaque dark brown to black color. The nose is somewhat fruity - chocolate-covered, alcohol-drenched cherries? Silky and creamy with a sweet but pleasant, slightly bitter finish. The beer-lover's equivalent of scarfing a lucious Cadbury egg...what a great brew!

Pours with a black body topped by a thick, lasting, brown head with some lacing. It’s sweet and fruity with an underlying chocolate note and a slight roastiness. Full bodied, smooth and warming.

My little girl once asked me "why I was pooring used motor oil into my glass?" LOL This seems a little more of a porter than a Imperial stout. If you have never had this you must go to Dallas, Wis. Just Great!

This is super-black with a nice thick head. It's oily and sweet, with a lot of chocolate, but there's not a lot of roast malt/coffee flavors. The body is a bit thin. This is a lot like my homebrewed imperial stout in that if it it'd up the roast malt in the grain bill, it'd probably be really good. Of course, as it is, it's quite enjoyable.

Thanks to Tom for this one. It pours jet black with a minimal head. The nose has some chocolate & toffee notes. It's medium bodied with some stickiness on the tongue. Very quaffable, but it has an almost port like quality that is very enjoyable. A real warmer. To me, this is a great after dinner beer. It's very nice to sip.
