500 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery, as " Nothelfer Bio-Weisse " and a 5,3 % ABV. Poured an unfiltered opaque golden-orange Hefeweizen with a generous two fingers slight beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, fruity, bananas, apples, light citrussy and spicy, cloves. The aroma is wheaty malts, fruity, bananas, peaches, spicy, cloves. The mouthfeel is fresh, quite thin and a bit watery. This light to medium bodied Hefeweizen has a dry fruity finish. Certainly a nice Hefeweizen but, for me, not so impressive as expected.

Forced draught at the GBBF 2008, as Trunk Weisse. ABV was 5.5%. Cloudy golden colour, big head. Typical hefeweizen with notes of cloves and banana both in the aroma and the flavour. Nice.
