Aug. 2016: 355 ml can, BB date 13 days ago. ABV is 6.5%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fresh aroma of pine, spruce, citrus and newmown grass. Medium dry and crisp flavour with distinct notes, notes of pine needles, spruce tips and grapefruit. Refreshing.

So many new IPAs coming out, getting hard to keep track. This is a well-balance, good all-around IPA. Doesn’t really lean on the tropical nor West Coast style, but somewhere in the middle. On the thinner side as far as malt which gives a clearer and crisper feel. A nice one to try, but not "vital" to add to the rotation.

Pours clear solar yellow with a minimal porcelain head. Aroma delivers hoppy and citrus tones, rather tempting. Flavor echoes the hops and citrus of the aroma, and ads a snip of malt. Body is OK, fizz is good. Vita la Brewing!

Wow, after all the citra IPA's I have had lately its nice to smell some malt.Three is an odd grass note in the nose and some sour fruit, odd IPA nose. Another slightly hazed IPA, beginning to wonder if its my glass. Medium gold body is topped with moderate head and some lace. Mouth is fullish and the carbonation a bit underdone and yet fizzy in an unpleaseant way. They say the malts are German but this tastes English to me overall. The finish is sour and sort of dominates the experience. A bit complex with malts playing a small role. I don't hate this taste but its just not an IPA profile. That sour finish is also perhaps medicinal, wonder if I got a bad bottle.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a huge creamy bubbly white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet bready malts with grassy piney hops and some soft fruit.
The flavor is sweet bready biscuity malt with a little fruit and grassy slightly resiny minty hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, the malts are too biscuity and the hops are too grassy.
