http://www.victorybeer.com/beers/fall-bockwards/ A hybrid Bock-style beer brewed specially for Barcade, a combination bar and arcade with a focus on classic video games and American craft beer, our delicious and refreshing Fall Bockwards is made with a decocted mash of English and German malts, and hopped with German and Slovenian hops. Decoction mashing–a classic brewing technique that originates from a time before thermometers could ensure that the proper temperature was met–is common in many German and Czech beer styles, and helps develop the rich and complex flavors in this brew. Composition Malt: English and German malts Hops: Whole flower German and Slovenian hops

A bold amber in color. A big sudsy textured, off white head rises above. The hang time on the head is long lasting. A thick film and moderate ringlet are left. Malt-fruity nose. Very complex. Leads with a floral and grassy hoppiness taste, with a strong roasted bread malt in the back. Smooth on the front, high carbonation on the back that tingles on the tongue for a while.
