2006 Great International Beer Festival Silver Medal Winner A light, refreshing fruit beer fermented with over 500 pounds of real raspberries! At 6.2% ABV it is in the early reaches of the strong bière category! This ruby red, sour mashed and oak aged weiss beer is for everyone. Maybe some oak, cherry and vanilla come through? Try mixing it with our currently offered stout, on tap. It is real, it is right and it works. The freshest framboises on tap in town, no question.

Had at the pub itself. Pours a purple-red colour with not much lace. Beautiful raspberry aromas with some tart. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Taste is pretty much the same as the nose but a little milder with light sourness in the finish. Refreshing on a hot summer day on the patio.

I have been SEARCHING for this beer for EVER. I had it like 2 years ago and liked it and for some reason thought it was magic hat. anyways, now that i have found you oh great one, you get a mediocre rating because you were sooooo sweet. however, for a fruit beer, it was excellent.

Light ruby color. Tasted like a light lambic without the yeast. OK< so it tsated like strong rasberry Kool-Aid. Way too sweet to be refreshing.

Pours with a red/dark pink body topped by a medium thick pink (huh?) head with some lacing. Raspberry, raspberry, raspberry aroma. That's it nothing more. Sour raspberry flavor with nothing else to offer. Light bodied and very dry. They call this a beer? Maybe a malternative but not beer.
