Don't drink Marzen often as I am not a big fan, but this one was surprisingly smooth and I liked it. Amber, white head, malts, but not some smelly german yeast, was much less perfumed than that. Slightly creamy in texture medium bodied, like a fresh fig.

"Brewers Batch - Bomber #01 Series #02". From my local BCLDB, in a bomber. First Marzen of the season. Clear amber pour, well carbonated, with a rocky white head. Malt aroma, maybe some hops in the background. Smooth mouthfeel to complement the smooth, creamy flavour; mostly malt. Mercifully, not overly sweet.
