500 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Ustersbacher Seidla a clear and straw-yellow coloured Festbier with a two fingers almost white foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is moderate sweety malts, bready, notes of hay. The flavour is sweety malts, bready, a honey touch and a late faint hoppy bitterness. The mouthfeel is crispy and sweety. The texture is watery. This medium bodied Festbier has a dry and flat finish. Should be this anonymous brew really a Festbier ? If the answer were " Yes ", I don't unterstand more the world of beers ! A disappointement.
