Pours an average size creamy looking head. Has an amber appearance, fairly dull clarity. Weak lacing. Aromas of sweet grainy malts, mild honey notes. A bit of corn scent also. Flavours are mostly corny and grainy malts. Mild spices and resin hops. Some dryness. Hints of caramel and honey sweetness. Watery mouthfeel, faint carbonation, light bodied. Not too bad, cheap Unibroue variants to the mass produced brews. Price is right and you get what you pay for.

Where is the aroma??? It’s sort of there I guess and does show up after sitting for quite awhile. Sort of fruity, grains, light caramel??, a bit of honey.. man, this is taking a long time. The taste is less than impressive: dull hops, sweet, light spice, light caramel and maybe honey. The initial aroma I got was wet peanut shells. Smooth but almost no carbonation yet not totally flat. Booooooooooooring.

Very bright light gold with a good bubble ring, looks good for what it is I guess. Malty sweet aroma with slight banana and a bitter that has no sent to it. Sweet bready flavor with a nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. The is a slight chemical flavor what I can’t pin down. Nice clean highly drinkable taste but I would go out of my way to drink another that’s for sure,

Bought in singles at La Trappe À Fromage in Gatineau, Quebec. This latest Unibroue pours a clear golden-amber colour with a small head, but decent lacing all around. Bubble coming up fast, from 4-5 different spots in the bottom of the glass. Mild herbal aromas with a touch of bread and grain. First sip was a turn-off with some metallic notes. Then it disappeared. Light sweetness from the honey with some grain malt taste. Never thought Sleeman would continue the U series, but this one is not bad. Actually, better than the other two... I find.

Bottle: Poured a dark clear amber color lager with a small bubbly white head with no retention. Aroma of corn with some sweet malt is pretty gross. Taste is bland, boring and inoffensive. Wow, can’t believe Unibroue is now producing boring sweet corn adjunct lager now.
