Axe Handle Pale Ale is a “West-coast” pale ale. Hopped during the boil and “dry hopped” after fermentation, the flavor and aroma come from the Cascade hops. This ale finishes with a firm bitterness and malt aftertaste.

Beer #4 of the flight sampler, A big pale or an ipa?? who knows?? Anyway lots and lots of piney and citrusy hops, sweet and sticky, with a nice biscut backbone. Nice amber/ orange body, again as with the other brews from here nice lace. Another super soild brew.

pours a hazy tan .. . great head coverage .. big perfumey citrus nose, simcoe .. . mellow high kick of sweet piney hops .. . very smooth.. . wonderful stuff .. . kickass , fun brew!! went well with the pulled pork enchiladas...
