Purchased last Friday, the day before its release - so pretty fresh. Pours a clean golden colour with a frothy-foamy white cap, decent stay and light foam lace. A little yeasty at first pour, but then the nice balance of German grains, caramel malts and mild hops show up. Hints of alcohol, also in the taste. Flavours of cereal grains with light hops in the finish. Some toastiness and a nice dry end lingers. Ready for Oktoberfest!
