Porter was first, then came Stout Porter, now simply known as Stout. While the difference between the styles has been cloudy since their inception, porter can be seen as a softer, less robust version of stout. Steadfast holds true to this idea with a soft, chocolatey palate dotted with smoky Brown Malt aromatics and earthy hop flavours. Low in alcohol and thoroughly satisfying.

Fairly clean, copper colour with a nice big frothy, creamy warm-beige head, good stay and leaving creamy-foamy lacing. Roasted and chocolate malt nose, mild and soft. The taste shows a little more of the burnt barley, but again - very light with enough hops in the finish to cut this slightly dry. All-around, a nice, easy-drinking porter (or light stout).
