Using generous amounts of Palisades, Galaxy and El Dorado hops in the late addition of the boil and in the fermenter for dry hopping, our inaugural HLP release, Sapient, boasts an herbal, grassy punch and mellowed citrus and stone fruit aroma equally matched by its flavor right through the glass. Bitterness is smooth and well balanced against the crisp but full flavored mouthfeel and body of this very drinkable pale ale.

Taps clear golden with a thick eggshell head. Aroma features a strong note of resiny hops riding citrus and fresh malt notes. Flavor nicely echoes the aroma while adding more than a hint of wood. Mouthfeel presents typical body but lively, sassy fizz. Be sapient, have a glass.
