Head First Pale ale is beer for any challenge. Whether you’re backpacking the Appalachian Trail or trying to catch a trophy fish 100 miles out at sea. Head First is golden tan and has a light crisp sweetness and great body without being too heavy. You won’t get bloated after drinking half a beer. This beer has unique hops, but of course you don’t fear this. Most are late addition hops which gives this beer great hop aromas without the bitterness. Pours clear amber with a nice and rather fine-bubbled buff head that leaves generous lacing. Crisp, malty aroma has hoppy and spicy apple tones. Flavor is almost more hoppy than malty, yet only a little bitter, with a fruity and clove underpinning. Firm body has plenty of fizz and leaves a hoppy finish rather like an IPA. Dive head first into a crater of this.
