Bottle from kinger. Near black/dark mahogany brown pour, tight light tan head, nice lacing. Roasty malt flavor and aroma, toasted bread, light molasses and coffee, hint of cocoa, earthy hops, nice roasted linger. Very good straight up Porter. Thanks Cory!

Robust is a great word for this, a mild porter with robust roast and rich leather. Nice deep flavors. Couple that with a sweet molasses smell, a clear dark brown pour, and I'd say this is another winner from brew kettle. Decent bitterness on the back end as well, very nice balance on this. Thanks to the beer king of oHIo for another top notch brew.

Originally known as Black Jack, this porter certainly is robust while maintaining a delightful creamy balance. Milky with roasted malts, chocolate and coffee along with a mild nuttiness. Pours an opaque dark brown with a fizzy head and spotty lacing. Well done and very tasty.
