A golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some lemons, pine, and grapefruit. The flavor is bitter and rather dry with a large amount of lemons coming through. Not much maltiness to speak of this beer. Overall while being somewhat one dimensional this is still a pretty good IPA.

Purchased under "Up-Hi IPA", also written Citra-hopped. Pours a clean golden colour with lots of nice tiny bubble carbonation. The frothy head is also foamy, soapy, long lasting with lots of foamy lacing. Citrus aromas giving mostly oranges, but with grapefruit zest. Orange flavours as well with some good dry hops in the finish. Pretty easy to drink.

Aroma is strong and very hoppy - got hoppy notes as soon as I opened the can. Pours a clear amber with a fairly thick and frothy eggshell head. Hoppy flavor is mainly woody but with some resin tones, as well as subtle malty and citrus notes. Texture is fairly firm and fairly fizzy. Worthy, if not outstanding. Paddle to your neighborhood bar or package store and grab some.

A bright golden colored beer with a big frothy textured off white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. Light puffs of film and moderate ringlet are left. Bold citrus hoppiness in the nose. That hoppiness is muted in the tasting by a biscuit maltiness. Crisp and effervescent

Another East Coast brewery doing a "West Coast" IPA. This is a better version of Sammy's Rebel IPA. Good resemblance of the style, but not quite Tier 1 flavor. Still has a good amount of hops and not a lot of malt, but the 5.9% ABV falls just short of the amount to pack top notch flavor. Still though, for 6%, this is a solid brew...just for the price may rather go with a Two-Hearted or something that is actually from the West Coast.

I picked this beer up from a new bottle shop in Roanoke, VA. This beer has "West-Coast" all over it. The beer is citrusy and smells like tangerine. I think this might be Terrapin's best. I'll have this again.
