Terminal Gravity's Rye beer, "Extra Special Golden," might be described as an American golden ale. This pale, dry and very drinkable beer is perfect for someone who wants something cold and refreshing but with a bit more flavor then the typical American lager. The suprise is that it has a bit of a kick. More bang for your buck as our regulars say!

Aroma is crisp, malty and rather strong - typical, but still acceptable. It pours a clear straw yellow with a rather thick and fluffy white head. Malty flavor is crisp with a fruity undertone and a hint of yeast. Texture is thick, smooth and fizzy, darned good. Not a great beer, but worthy of a try.

I would say this is more of a Golden with plenty of APA characteristics. Clean, refreshing fun with a mild malted backbone, plenty of hearty hop character that's not overpowering but keeps things interesting.
