XPA, or Extra Pale Ale, is a beer style that's similar to an American pale ale but has a lighter color and more pronounced hop flavor. XPAs use paler malts than American pale ales, which gives them a lighter body and flavor, allowing the hop flavors to be more prominent. XPAs also usually have more hop bitterness than standard pale ales XPA is a favorite style of the brewers here at Thill. A cleaner and more crisp drinking version of a lower ABV American Pale Ale, this beer highlights the hop aromas and flavors from a blend of Citra, Azacca CGX and Manilita Hops. Earthy mango flavors combine with tangerine citrus and pine to create a unique balance that doesn't hold back while still being crushable.
