Smoke 40 accomplishes the impossible by marrying smoke with an IPA. Using a 40% smoked malt base, we complement the malt character with an over-sized dose of Mosaic hops to bring tropical fruit into the mix. Think charcoal grilled pineapple slices as you drink this amazingly complex beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a mildly hazy golden colour with and orange hue. Small off-white head and thing creamy lacing. Smoke aromas over fresh grassy-citrus hops. Refreshing citrus flavours with oranges and the smokiness hitting in the end. The mouthfeel is dry enough. Not sure how I fell about combining these two styles, but must say they got it done right.
