Road trips are carefree adventures that usually take unexpected twists, like when we created this beer. It started out as a Pilsner recipe, but halfway through it blew a tire and Ale yeast was put on as the spare. The result was so good, it never could have been planned!

Poured out a cloudy gold color. The aroma has a very slight note of grapefruit peel . The mouthfeel is thin and bitter. The taste is sour like chewing on a grapefruit peel. Nothing here that I like enough to buy again.

A deep bold copper colored beer with a smallish frothy textured off white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. It settles into a moderate ringlet. The nose is light, mostly malt. The hops a citrus mostly. Light, effervescent thirst quencher

I would say this is more of a pilsner versus blonde ale. If expecting a blond, then yes, I think it's a bit weak and thin. But, like I said...if this is classified as a pilsner, which I was actually expecting...it's quite decent. Bought it for the season as summer beer, and it serves the purpose. Grassy flavors with some bitter hop at the end. Appearance is a clear medium pale yellow. I wouldn't go out of my way or anything in the future, but can see me getting this again.

Clear yellow straw color with a thinning white bubbly head and chunky lacing. Light sweet malts aroma with light Noble-like hops scent. Taste is nicely light sweet with a decent maltiness and hops bitter linger. Refreshing and tasty, easy to drink.

Got this in a 12 mixer brought back from Georgia by a friend. Really nice blonde. Not my favorite style but this one really stands out. Nice malt profile. Decent hops. Plenty of flavor with a soft little honey finish. Very clean, refreshing and delightful.

Little to no aroma, with a slight head and decent lacing. Light-bodied mouthfeel, with a slightly sour, bitter hop and grass flavor and dry aftertaste.

I must say that this is the only beer I have ever tried from sweetwater that I did not like. I was at a beerfest so maybe it was just from a dirty tap but it did not hold any head, and it tasted like mildew. I will try this again if given the chance but I have my doubts.

Pours hazy orange with almost no head. Flavor is kind of grassy and bland. Light flavor that is slightly bitter and metallic. Has a mild grassy aftertaste. I was not too impressed.

Aroma is well-rounded, malty and yeasty with a hint of banana. It pours a nice clear amber with a very thick white head that sticks around. Flavor is interesting - like a lager, and yet hoppy like an IPA, crisp, both hop-bitter and fruity-sweet, a little tart. If this beer was the result of an accident, it was a happy one, resulting in a smooth, sassy, satisfying ale.

This blonde ale pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is sweet and a touch citrusy. A light to medium bodied blonde ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are mild (well a lot for a blond ale) but kind of citrusy. Good flavor. Nice session ale. Not complex, but nice tasting and easy drinking. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is mostly sweet woth a touch of hops.
