Pours a nice hazy gold, it smells of citrus mainly orange with a creamy head. THe flavor is strong of orange (no need for an orange slice) it is a refeshing beer with a sweet taste that finishes with a hint of bitterness.

Courtesy of bluesandbarbq via trade. Bright golden color with a thick off-white head. Aroma is citrusy with some cloves, yeast and banana. The orange and coriander come out more in the flavor with spices and some yeast towards the finish. Pretty well-rounded and refreshing. Nice.

This bottle courtesy of bluesandbarbq poured a cloudy deep yellow with a lively thin white head and light lacing. A striking aroma of fresh coriander and citrus - actually smells more like lemon (maybe even a little banana) rather than orange. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing with a little tang on the tongue. Flavors are a little too light and reserved as the spiciness doesn't come through and the citrus is soft and thin. The result is a very pleasant easy-drinking beer that's more like an American Wheat than a Wit; still quite tasty, though.

Nice, strong aroma with plenty of esker scent and a hint of citrus. Color is a cloudy golden yellow, typical of this kind of beer but still quite inviting. Flavor is smooth, lively, wheaty and malty with a faint hint of lemon. Refreshing and delightful, this summery brew is good all year round.

Pours a clear, slightly amber yellow with a foamy head that is not long lived and good lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of yeasty wheat, citrus - lemons, and sweet malts. Taste is smooth wheaty malts with a slight citrus twang.

Pours a cloudy golden colour, with medium sized white head. Lots of sweet and fruity aromas of pears, pineapple and coriander. Excellent mouthfeel, very pleasent taste all around.

This witbier pours a medium orange color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is banana esters, citrusy and floral. A medium bodied wit. Malts are fruity, orange and peaches. Lots of coriander and orange peel. Kind of fruit and floral, yet there is a nice malt backbone evident. Light and refreshing with some flavor to it. Perhaps a touch buttery, but not bad. Good summer beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

I know this is supposed to be a "summer" beer, but it just arrived around this area, and I like Sweetwater soooo...here goes. Nice looking hazy orange color with a small but creamy white head. Fresh oranges and corriander in the aroma. This is probably the best tasting example of a witibier I have tried. A smooth but thin mouthfeel. The taste is ORANGES with the corriander lurking behind. A refreshing beer from an outstanding brewery.

With a darkish golden color, a bit darker than I expected from a witbier. None of the expected cloudiness, with a white head and decent lacing. Nice citrus/spice aroma that was matched in the flavor. Mouthfeel was as expected. As an added bonus in the flavor, either all-spice or clove. Finishes with a spicy flourish. IMO, not a good lawn-mower beer, but decent enough to enjoy a couple on a hot summer day.

This beer left alot to be desired. The nose was leathery and weak. For a wheat beer I would expect a stronger more pungent scent. The taste of oranges is the first flavor on the palate and coriander follows shortly after. I expected alot more from a beer but I was dissapointed in the overall quality. If you want a beer to pound on a hot summer day it will work, but for a good all around beer I would walk by without a second glance.
