I've got to be honest, Bluez drank the first half of this bomber about a month ago, with the rest in the fridge since then with a wine stopper, so the head and carbonation were lacking. It still poured a beautiful dark dark brown with nary a bit of light shining thru when held to light. The aroma is of espresso, nuts and maybe (?) cherry? No noticable alcohol aroma which could be attributable to the aging. The flavors melded well, with coffee and chocolate noted, some mild fruit aftertastes. This is a well heeled 11% brew. Certainly a sipper I'd enjoy again with a mild cigar next to the pool.

Disappointing to me. This is a red? Not so much. Copper color, with little head. Aroma is malty, as expected, with hops noticable. The first sip turned me off this brew. Bitter, very bitter. I noted little if any of the malt flavor I expected from an Impy red. No more for me, thanks.

Poured a nice copperish color with creamy, white lasting head. Aroma is typical of an IPA, with floral hops definitely present. The flavor of this one surprised me, with a great malt character to go along with the sticky hops. One of my favorite IPA's.

Decent aroma, with notes of pine hops. Not as strong of an aroma as I expected. Pours orangish with small white head. Laced well. Flavor is of citrus hops, with a bit of sweetness and a barely detectable malt background. Decent, but for the price I'd rather have Terrapin Rye Pale ale.

Very enjoyable. Poured well, copper colored brew with white to off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma was mainly that of malt, with some piney hop afternotes. Flavor was good...some malt, but mainly citrus and pine hops. I'm not sure, but this may be my favorite Lagunitas brew thus far. I look forward to having more.
