This year’s anni ale has everything in it but the pitch fork and a bale of hay. With over two months of fermentation and cellaring time, this saison plows the field as it harvests spicy farmhouse overtones from its primary Fraunch saison yeast. That funky monkey delivers a strapping alc 9 % by vol, seeding a perfect foundation for secondary Brettanomyces fermentation, which hoes a cornucopia of tart and effervescent flavors. Distinct citrus notes from the finishing hops cultivate a naturally freaky fresh palate tweaker. Here’s to the next 17 trips around that burning ball in the sky! Grains: 63% 2 Row, 12% Rye, 11% Wheat, 6% Munich, 4% 13/17, 3% Melanoidin Hops: Galena, Saaz, Centennial, Amarillo Yeast: French Saison, Secondary Fermentation with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis

A golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some spices, citrus, and some candy yams. The flavor is spicy and slightly funky with a hint of alcohol. More citrus and some brown sugar present. Finish is a.bit dry and sour. Overall this is great.

A 9% ABV Saison? Yes please. Golden pour, bubbly head, plenty of lacing. Barnyard, check. Yeasts, check. Funk, check. Brett!, ever so slight. Tart and sour, Belgian and big, tasty and citrusy, love this beer. Will buy more.

A golden colored beer with a big frothy textured, white head rising above. There's good hang time on that head and a moderate ringlet is left behind. Pepper spicy on the nose and more intense in the taste. Effervescent and a thirst quencher.

Growler. Pours a clear, bubbly amber with a fairly thick and fluffy ivory head. Yeasty, fruity aroma is not too strong, but still invites a taste. Crisp, fruity flavor has a slightly sweet yeasty overtone and hints of malt and hops. Firm texture is smooth and pleasing, if none too fizzy. Get your butt on down to the Sweetwater barn, order up a crater of this, and set for a spell.
