Das Sternquell Bockbier wird saisonal zur Starkbierzeit von November bis März angeboten. Es zeichnet sich durch seine besonders malzige Note aus. Bockbier ist ein untergäriges Bier mit einer Stammwürze von 16 % bei 6,5 Vol. % Alkohol. Es hat auch im Vogtland eine lange Tradition und ist schon immer ein ganz besonderer Genuss gewesen, ein Bier, das als Alternative zu herberen Biersorten immer wieder regen Zuspruch findet.

500 ml bottle. Poured a clear ruby brown colored Bock with a two fingers beige foamy head that had a good retention. Active carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, dark chocolate, nuts. The flavour is roasted malts, fruity, nuts, spicy, licorice, notes of caramel. The mouthfeel is very smooth. This medium bodied beer has a sweet malty finish. An above the average Bock from the Vogtland in Saxony.
