Sampled on 9/19/2010. This amber pours a medium amber color from a 12oz can. Small to medium sized white foamy head, decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, caramel and sweet. A medium to light bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are herbal. A little sweet and somewhat nutty with some hop bitterness. Decent carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

It pours a dark amber-red with fairly thick light-tan head and some lace. Aroma of caramel malts, light hops, some nuts, banana, citrus, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and well-bodied. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, lemon-citrus, some nuts, and mild spices.

Poured a slightly cloudy amber color with a thin head. Had a mild malty aroma as well as a thin mouthfeel with a slightly metallic taste. Bland finish. Not that good.

Sampled from bottle: Pours a translucent amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is kind of dull, not much to pick out except for some lightly roasted malts. Taste is a little thin at first but picks up mid palate with a very clean nutty and refreshing finish.

Pours copper with good clarity and small, creamy head. The aroma is clean, lightly malty, with herbal, almost salty topnotes. I liked the flavor. It's balanced and satisfying, but light with a subtly fruity finish. These would be great cans to bring on a float or camp. Light bodied, smooth, easy-drinking. Pleasant session drinking.

Pours a decent amber hue, thin tan head, medium carbonation, fair laceing left. Aroma of toasted malts and slight hints of friut. Flavors of toasted malt kinda mellow. Overall a little above average lager, not too bad.

this is really a rustic amber lager! ... is smooth and quite a simple liquid ... is similar to an ale in a few ways ... is refreshingly different in the mouthfeel location ... pretty nice stuff but there is something about this brew ... a touch different but it does the job... unlike black aspirin...

Bottled@SBWF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is earthy, malty, hoppy and mouldy. Flavour is pleasant fruity hops along with malts. Refreshing and quite nice lager. Clean.

Poured a copper-ish color with a decent intial white head and decent lacing on the way down. The aroma was funky, somewhat spicey for a lager, but non-descript and hard to nail. The flavor was strong alcohol over top of some odd malt flavors for a lager (although some caramel). Definite spice presence, almost like this wanted to be a bad oktoberfest. Instead, it was just a mediocre lager? Not very impressive.
