It’s amazing how well this beer tastes when it is -27C outside. Will try the other styles of this brand soon. Only have to drink it quick otherwise the bootle will freeze to my lips.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured a clear golden-orange coloured Lager with a two fingers white pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is faint sweety malts and weak grassy hops. The flavour is moderate grainy malts, some weak hops. The mouthfeel is watery, watery ... watery. This light bodied Lager has a dry slightly bitter finish. An under-averaging beer. Nothing spectacular. Drinkable ? Certainly, but one more anonymous brew between many others .

Pale yellow colour, small white bubbly head. Metallic nose, with also sweet malts and hops. Flavour is at first harsh hoppiness, which becomes more and more malty towards the finish. I enjoy the sweetish malts along with hops in this one. Wellbalanced.

Yet another case where I should carry cash with me when I shop for beer...! I wanted to bring a bottle of the brand-new 2003 Stone Imperial Stout to the monthly Foam On The Brain homebrew club meeting Friday night, so stopped into the one of the lesser-known beer-stores in the Southbay of San Diego. Needed to have at least $10 worth of beer in order to use my Credit/Debit Card, so grabbed this odd-looking bottle pretty-much on a whim. It wasn't until just now that I noticed that it's brewed in Russia, yet listed on other websites as being from Turkey. Interesting.

But in all actuality, the only thing particularily interesting about this beer is the name and the rather detailed bottle-cap. The beer within the 500mL bottle is rather unspectatular, and I certinaly can see room for improvement. In addition, something in this beer gives me a headache, more-or-less killing whatever "lawnmower-beer" drinkability this may have had.

Not the worst beer I've had, from Russia, Turkey, or anywhere else, for that matter. And perhaps the headache-thing is just a fluke. But this is nothing that I can see seeking out anytime in the near future, regardless where it's from.

My first from Russia. Very light gold color. A thin head. Smells of wheat and some sweetness. Slightly skunky. Flavor is subdued with very little character.

One more very average swill. It's quite drinkable, but with no extreme pleasure. Too watery, aroma a little skunky, very mild, unexpressed flavor. Extremely cold works in satisfying your thirst, but nothing more. Oh yes, it's close to Bud.

Not great, but drinkable. Dry in flavor and weak in body - overall quality somewhat like Straub, but deinitely not as good. Heavy dry carbonation is resent that seems artificial. Worth a try, but definitely not one of my favorites.

This beer pours like many american lagers, bright and cheery with just the slightest hint of urine. MMMM-MMM! Needless to say, this beer did not impress anything on me, bad smell, medioc flavor, palate like cola. Not a great beer.
