A bright yellow (with orange tints) colored lager. Moderate frothy white head. Settles fairly quickly leaving a weak ringlet. The aroma is mostly grassy hops. The body is full with a smooth creaminess. The taste is a grassy grainey beer with hints of citrus hops. Drinkable, but not my favorite genre, so.... .

Poured out a nice thick white crown with ok retention and lacing and minor effervecance. There was way way too much unfiltered garbage for my liking. The aroma was of grainy malts and a very light skunk..seems dry. The taste is full: minor candy flavour, tasty bitter hops. Very good malts and flavour overall. Medium bodied. The motuhfeel is smooth and creamy but it lacks a middle. Finishes clean with minor bitter aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured a crisp yellow color beer with a nice bubbly white head with limited retention. Aroma of floral malt and bohemian hops is subtler then I would have wish. Taste is slightly skunky which is to be expected of green bottle making a 3000 miles trek to the store with some light floral malt and some light hops. I have to admit that this is a bit deceiving and I was expecting more hops and bigger malt or something closer to Pilsner Urquell anyway.

Best before date on back label reads: 21 08 06 08:53 325 and purchased at the SAQ. This premium lager has a nice creamy white head with decent retention and lacing. It pours a golden-amber colour with lots of carbonation. The aromas start on a fresh malt scent but end up with some metallic water nose. The mouthfeel is sticky. Not too much bitterness throughout the tasting, but enough to satisfy. Bready malt with some refreshing fruit in the finish, like apples. Thank God for no metal in the taste. Above-average pilsner.

A very refreshing beer. Seems like the perfect beer to have out on the lake while fishing and just relaxing. Its something that I will have again.

Pours a bit darker than most Pilsners with a very nice head that lasts well and leaves some lace down the side of the glass. Smells skunky, kinda. Taste is barely okay. Not really much flavor, really, but it's got a not-so-pleasant aftertaste. I'm reminded of the sour stuff they put on some candies to get the tart thing going. Mouthfeel actually has some mineral feel to it, but the almost astringent feeling is way too much. Overall? I'll pass.

Bottled. Golden colour, white bubbly head. Vegetably malts in aroma. Malts and hops in flavour. Sticky palate, nothing special.

After a Doppelbock and a wretched (sugary) Belgian ale, my taste buds oh-so needed a break from such an onslaught. And what better way to cleanse the palate than with a real-made Czech Lager, eh...?
This is a Trader Joe's special, in that six-packs go for something like $4.00. But considering that this beer isn't all that bad -- and, in fact, is fairly tasty -- this is quite a bargain.
Pours decently enough, and has something of a respectable lager-like aroma. But this beer comes into it's own when it comes to the flavor profile. Nice malt-n'-grain mouthfeel, with a clean and crisp flavor. Not a whole lot in the way of hops -- would have been nice if this were more of a Pilsener, and jacked up the hoppiness a bit. But as it stands now, it's still fairly refreshing, and quite drinkable. A very welcome change, especially as the season heats up.

Medium yellow color, small head. A nice pilsner style lager. Crisp slightly bitter lager. Some hoppyness. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is hoppy slightly bitter. This is a real nice $4 a 6 pack beer.

Small fizzy head. Has a darker gold coloring and left lots of lacing in the glass. The aroma is dirt, corn and honey. As others have noted, this is salty and buttery tasting. This is fairly good. I was glad to have a fresh example. It is still a little thin in flavor to be an exceptional pilsner. Would be a decent session beer.
