500 ml capped bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Staffelberg Bräu Bavarian Seidel an unfiltered opaque golden-orange coloured Hefeweizen with a large one finger slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is yeasty, wheat malts, fruity, bananas, grapefruits and spicy, cloves. The flavour is yeasty, fruity, bananas, grapefruits, spicy, cloves and a touch of pepper, wheaty malts. The mouthfeel is very fresh and a bit watery. This light to medium bodied Hefeweizen has a long fruity finish. A refreshing and quite tasty Hefeweizen from Upper Franconia.
