    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original and elegant Saint Rieul chalice an unfiltered and opaque rich golden-amber coloured BSA with a one finger light beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Some lacing. A lot of floating sediments in powder. The aroma is solid malty, fruity, oranges, a bunch of herbs and intense herbal bitter. The flavour is rich, solid malty, great yeasty, brown sugar, spicy, coriander, a lot cinnamom, herbs, thyme, rosmarin, on the back ground a real alcoholic feeling and finally herbals hops. The mouthfeel is fulled, thick, sparkling and bitter. This full bodied BSA has a lingering herbal and bitter finish. A very interesting and flavourful ( fast too much ) Belgian Strong Ale from ... Picardie, not far away from the Belgian border.
