Aroma has a malty core with firm pumpkin, cinnamon and cloves notes. Pours a somewhat hazy copper-amber, almost a pumpkin color, with a decent pale wheat head. Flavor has a malty core with subtle notes of pumpkin and cloves plus hints of cinnamon. Texture has OK body and fizz, not great but still acceptable. Overall, a decent it not top-of-the-line fall brew.

Earthy vegetable and spice aroma and flavor. This is a malt forward brew that has a decent amount of depth to it, making it stand out from the crowd just a little. I've liked the 3 I've had from these guys.

A murky orange-amber in color with a two finger sudsy textured off white head rising above. There's some hang time in the head. Settles into a thin ringlet. An earthy nose with some spicy notes. The same more intense in the tasting. Light bodied and smooth. Not the best of the genre but no where the worse. .

Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This pumpkin beer pours a light gold color from the bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet hints of pumpkin. A medium bodied pumpkin beer The hops are floral and herbal. Nice balance. A touch sweet with mild pumpkin flavors. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Generous sample from a local gathering during the years first snow fall. A good pumpkin ale all in all, but one dimensional and perhaps a bit too easy going. Nice malty aroma with fresh pumpkin and a splash of spice. Orange copper color, hazy and vibrant. Thin head and moderate lacing. Light to medium bodied, crisp and drinkable. Standards of fresh pumpkin and some bakers spices accounted for the flavor. I like these to be a little thicker and bolder, but it is a refreshing beer.

KSBF 08. I don’t like pumpkin ales, but every year I make myself try one or two just to confirm my tastebuds have not evolved. This was my guinea pig beer this year. No, I still hate them. Tons of cinnamon and nutmeg...both of which I can tolerate in hot coffee or a warm danish, but beer...ICK, no. Really sweet, too. This one actually did remind me of the pumpkin creme desert thing my wife makes. The dessert is delicious, the beer...not so much.

Pours out in a clear amber colour with a fluffy white foam. Vegetal aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, perfume and melon. Clean flavour with some weight underneath of perfume, cinnamon, pumpkin and dried oranges. Clean and a bit perfumy finish of cinnamon with a low bitterness

I acquired this bottle from Canal's in Burlington, NJ. It poured a orangish hue with a decent head. The aroma was very inviting reminding me of pumpkin pie. The taste was good too - the typical pumpkin spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. This was a good pumpkin ale - and is worth a try.

Poured the typical copper color with okay head and lacing. Aroma was of spices nutmeg and cinnamon. Flavor was tons and tons of the spices little to much. As it warmed the spices did die down for me a little not bad not amazing.
